The After Midnite Show

For several years now the Voodoo Lounge has been the place to meet just after midnight. By then the Bucks Parties have departed the room and made their way to whence they came, whilst a fresh wave of clubbers and party animals sweep in through the doors, bringing with them their laughter and lightness of spirit, changing the atmosphere and lifting the mood to full throttle. The mix and blend of males and females, old and new patrons alike, clink their glasses and raise a toast to our beautiful dancers and squeeze into a space to catch the infamous ‘After Midnite Show’.

With the drum rolls on the midnight clock we roll out a variety show, in the traditional style of contortionists, snake dancers, circus acts and striptease, mixed and matched each week to ensure there is always something different. This is a room of refined decadence, where the dancing girls spin on poles whilst those who wish to play the tipping game from front row seats, do so, with girlfriends upon their knees, whilst for others, it is a sanctuary amongst the warmth and sound of friends: far from the madding crowd and streets outside. The After Midnite Show creates the ambiance and the friendly vibe which sets the tone and mood of the Voodoo Lounge right through to closing at 3 a.m. and helps explain why it is ‘always the place to be’.
