Art Of Tipping

Tipping is akin to flirting. The trick is to take a seat when the dancer of your choice is on the podium (which is why you don’t want ‘non-players’ taking up the seats). Then sit back, catch the dancer’s eye and ‘play the game’.

Tipping is essentially a ‘mind game’. The name of the game is to ‘let the dancer catch you out’. She has to ‘work out’ which part of her anatomy turns you on, by the interactive eye activity between you both.

Every human being is driven by their psycho-sexual fixation on either oral, anal, genital or fetish aspects of human anatomy. She catches you looking at one part of her anatomy, then when she flirts with you (striptease = to strip, and to tease), you flirt back through smile, gesture with the tipping notes and other signs of interest. You share the moment of intimacy (“its in the eye”) which only you and her are privy to (no-one else in the room notices, ironically, even though you are surrounded by people). When she is right and gives you the omniscient look (all seeing all knowing), you reward her with a tip. Otherwise it is akin to going to the races and not putting $10 on the tote, or going to the casino and not even flipping $10 onto the roulette wheel – you are there, but you never quite feel connected, never quite feel involved, not in charge of your own destiny. Be a player, not just a voyeur. Play the Tipping game, after all, everyone else does.

Tipping Seats must be used by players – not simply occupied by them: simple. The best seats in the house are reserved for those who want to ‘pay up, play up and play the game’, not for lay-abouts, with a tired old $2 tipping note in their hand, wasting space, time and oxygen, robbing you of your opportunity with the dancer of your choice.

Tipping dollars are available from the Reception, the waitresses and the bar, coming in two dollar ($2) and five dollar ($5) denominations. Also, a bonus of having a seat at the tipping podium, is you get personalized service from the waitresses and share the direct experience with all the other ‘players’ around you.

You are not permitted to put your feet up on the podiums drink ledge and no-one is permitted to use offensive, aggressive or misogynistic language to the dancers or any other patron. Please feel you are on our team, if you need to direct our security or managers to any bad customer’s or dickhead’s, as after all, there is only one team at the Voodoo Lounge – our team, and we want you on it.
